Otto Kumm, (1 October 1909 – 23 March 2004) was an SS-Brigadeführer and Generalmajor of the Waffen-SS, and a recipient of the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross with Oak Leaves and Swords (German: Ritterkreuz des Eisernen Kreuzes mit Eichenlaub und Schwertern). The Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross and its higher grade Oak Leaves and Swords was awarded to recognise extreme battlefield bravery or successful military leadership. After the war, he became one of the founders and the first head of the veteran organization HIAG.
